What Is Roof Decking?
Decking is the foundation of your roofing system.
- Materials: Plywood or oriented strand board (OSB).
- Purpose: Supports underlayment and outer roofing materials.
If the decking gets wet and rots, it must be replaced during a roof repair or replacement project.
